so today while no skip at all on any channel here in central Fl I decided to finish my Malaya 148 gtl side mike
I did the exit thirteen asymmetry mod I put it on an off&on toggle switch. then to squeeze a tad more of audio I remove r131 and for experimental purposes, I put a 100k trimmer while using a 1khz tone in the mic, I would rotate until I saw my pep power go up a tad more and decrease it, and lose it found the sweet spot was at 62k ohm then while monitoring my audio on another radio with rf gain down with the switch off had good clear audio when I turn the switch on the audio got louder while talking I turn vr7 counter-clockwise and saw on the pep meter power faintly dropping so my modulation circuit is still intact

Hello gentlemen and Ladies. I have the dreaded RCI-2990 receive issue where my radio gets distorted when people get close to my location. I found the C90 Capacitor, but I can not for the life of me find the C89 capacitor. Can or does anyone have a picture of the exact location of C89 ? Thank you in advance, Wes
