I recently acquired a junk rci 2970n2 “I think” had a 2950 face but inside was a 2 pill amp section. The radio section has had parts scavenged and was beyond repair. However the amp section 2 Toshiba 2290 was untouched. So my question is has anyone ever used this amp section on a radio that it was never supposed to go on such as my 148F gtl, cobra 29, or connex 4800dxl, or any other worthy candidate? Looking for how to directions and thoughts. Seems like it will be fairly simple.
