Freq. counter for Pres. Jackson

Greetings all,
I need some ideas for a freq. counter for my jackson. I have been using my unitronics with the wrap around the coax sensor wire at home to see how well the thing tracks (pretty good!) but in the mobile, this is not practical.
Thoughts?

I just put a small para-dynamics frequency counter under my sons jackson with 2 sided tape made to hold 2 lbs. shows frequency when you key up,it`s not very big 2 1/2-3 inches wide maybe an inch tall, fits in a little ranger pickup under the dash... pic of one like it here http://thumbs4.ebaystatic.com/d/l225/m/mPoyqL1Wg9Wex2hYOLjmvmA.jpg

I had a FC 390 on my superstar ja (pres Jackson) when I had it,, it worked ok. there is a vid on youtube on how to wire it up.
