Was on with a local friend last night 7/24/15 Did a little 2 meter simplex, A little 10 meter ssb, went to the local chanel and it was dead and also somewhat quiet, The skip was gone so we went to 38 lsb and found a few groups in the area 15 to 50 miles and said hello. Made for a nice night on the radio.. Like skip but it is also nice to hit some of the ssb locals in the area while skip is on vacation.... makes me want to set up a small beam for just such an evening of fun...
