FS: Cobra 148 GTL (Malaysia) w/FC347

Cobra 148 GTL (10/1996) Clarifier has basic unlock +/- 2 , and channel change mod has been done so there is no break when changing channels. AM is 2w dk and swings to about 16w PEP. SSB hits about 15w PEP.

Receive was checked recently at

.2 uV SSB

No digits out in display and meter is good and moves great.

Adding in a brand new FC347 freq counter (bought on 1/10) that needs the JP1 soldered to work with this as it's reading 45 mhz. I started to do the FC347 but I don't have solder wick and decided to go a different direction as far as radios.

AM is fine and has had several good contacts, SSB may need work as people say I'm off frequency till I turn the clarifier to about 930..

I have $180 into the radio and $49 for the new FC347.. asking $155 shipped if paying with PayPal.

No extra channels. Channel selector was modified to maintain open squelch while switching channels to give the ability to hear channel quicker for traffic while rolling thru them.

The tech whom did first setup did that as a freebie.
