ft 2800 computer programming help

I'm trying to program my 2800 with computer. I do everything that it tells me, but the program isnt telling me if its reading the radio or not. How can i tell? thanks
 

i just

spent 3 hrs reading the book and programing my 2800m...didnt want to spend $45 for software.Never had that much troble programing a raio...will never buy another yeasue,or Alinco again...just Kenwoods...73s de n0zna/John

    Hello gentlemen and Ladies. I have the dreaded RCI-2990 receive issue where my radio gets distorted when people get close to my location. I found the C90 Capacitor, but I can not for the life of me find the C89 capacitor. Can or does anyone have a picture of the exact location of C89 ? Thank you in advance, Wes
