Just to let you know that there are two APRS mauals posted on Welcome to Yaesu.com

I assume that the one with the more pages is the most current?

I just confimed with Yaesu that there is a new APRS Manual posted on the website that is 40 pages long that is more current than the one I received.

No, one is for general functions and the other manual is strictly for the APRS functions. You need both manuals.

    Hello gentlemen and Ladies. I have the dreaded RCI-2990 receive issue where my radio gets distorted when people get close to my location. I found the C90 Capacitor, but I can not for the life of me find the C89 capacitor. Can or does anyone have a picture of the exact location of C89 ? Thank you in advance, Wes
