Has anyone used a second TNC with the FTM-350? Like while using the internal TNC for APRS, running an additional TNC (in my case a KPC 3 non plus ver 5.1) for packet messaging? It appears it should work based on the data cable wiring. I just wanted to know if anyone else has tried this or is it possible.
I was looking at various schemes to do mobile APRS mapping and packet, and APRS Point appears to work well. I believe the program can perform APRS mapping and point to point packet messaging at the same time, but requires access to a TNC for both, which the internal TNC won't do standard packet.
Thanks.
