Well thats good to know. I wasnt planning to run something that big. But thats good to know that i could do something that big if i wanted too.
I really don't understand why you are so dead set on using a huge base radio in your vehicle. Get a freaking Cobra 148 and wire up a freq counter. It'll be the same thing. Thats what a 2000 is, a Cobra 148 inside a big case.
In fact, if a freq counter is real important and you simply must have a Cobra, find a Cobra 148f gtl...has a built in 5 digit counter. Same basic board as a 2000...just a smaller package.

I found the C90 Capacitor, but I can not for the life of me find the C89 capacitor. Can or does anyone have a picture of the exact location of C89 ? Thank you in advance, Wes
