Galaxy 2527

I have a Galaxy 2527. When I turn the knob to change the channels, when I turn the knob one click to go one number it jumps more than one. You might turn it one click and sometimes ten numbers. You never know what your going to get. Does anybody know if there is a cure for this problem?

Rugrat, My 2527 Does The Same Thing. I Never Even Bother With The Dial Anymore. Just Use My Memory Presets And The Up And Down Arrows. 8ZERO4 .

Boy what service!!! Thanks GRTS. My new channel selector is on its way. They even told me I can take it to my tech, and they will pay for it. As long as he is authorized to do galaxy repairs.

    Hello gentlemen and Ladies. I have the dreaded RCI-2990 receive issue where my radio gets distorted when people get close to my location. I found the C90 Capacitor, but I can not for the life of me find the C89 capacitor. Can or does anyone have a picture of the exact location of C89 ? Thank you in advance, Wes
