Good evening
Looking for a little help on this galaxy
It’s a 33hp2
Right now I have good carrier on all power settings, modulation on high and medium,
No modulation on low
Anyone know where to start looking to correct this
Also have no meter response

At least we know that the modulation limiter is working on this radio. There are two AMC (Automatic Modulation Control) trimmer pots that set the max AM modulation level. One for low, one for medium and high.

The limiter trimpot for Low carrier is VR12. Pretty sure this one is set wrong. When it's turned far enough, it will limit the mike audio to zero.

Medium and high side AMC both use the same trimmer pot VR14, looks like.

I found the C90 Capacitor, but I can not for the life of me find the C89 capacitor. Can or does anyone have a picture of the exact location of C89 ? Thank you in advance, Wes
