galaxy 44 lots of swing weak audio

anybody know what i can do to get more audio from my 44 it swings a plenty gets out good ..but it just dosnt have that beefy sound like a connex 33 or am i dreaming too much..the radio will swing well past 25 watts on my cheap meter..

Wilson 1000 magnet mount (mounted high), set swrs at 1.2 or less.( Usually just bottom out the stinger). Install a good power microphone,(set at about 7 on dial), connex board, clip audio limiter, have it peaked if you don't know how. Done right, it WILL talk!

ive tried astatic 636 also roadking 56 not a fan of power mics maybe just a stock galaxy mic will make it talk

finely some one that don't read a misprint and keep going with it the mic limiter is tr 32.
