Galaxy 44 talk back disconnect ?

well I recently acquired a dx44 and someone installed a switch to shut the talk back off in this one. unfortunately I can t get a picture to load on my computer to show... so i'll try to explain. from the speaker side cover being removed. between can L26 and R154 there is a 4 pin white plug. the left wire ( face of unit facing me) is white and tied into the switch.
on the big can for the E tone there is a tab oriented to the right close to the top that has a black wire that goes into the board harness somewhere, I cant see at the moment. and on that same tab a blue wire runs to the switch on the back of the radio. if I can get a picture to load i'll post it. dont know what the problem is with this computer.
