Galaxy 44 tx cuts out

Under normal use, audio from speaker cuts out at time. Talk back, receive and tx. No sound at all until you restart the radio or when it cools down. Sometimes that doesn't happen for a week or so. HELP!! :headbang

cold solder joint probably around the 10.240 osc.

This may seem like an obvious solution, but often the external speaker jacks can short out, which would cause the internal speaker to disable. You may want to see what happens when you connect an external speaker, and try playing with the jack.
