Curly, any radio that is classified as a 10m Export radio will need a conversion or simple mod to get 11m cb channels. While Galaxy does make a legal cb line of radio's 80% of all radio's made by Galaxy are Exports.

So yes, the channels are "in there" so to speak if you want to say it like that. When you buy the radio just make sure the cb shop does a conversion and tune. Right out of the box Your Galaxy radio is a 10m ham radio, without a conversion the 11m channels will not function.
