Galaxy 73v modulating dog!

Well I adjusted r212 and no extra modulation. I am wondering if the amc circuit is faulty. I put my ohm meter across the vr14 pot and when adjusting it I noticed the value didn't vary much at all. The potentiometer has a 102 stamped in it. What is it suppose to be a 10,20k. If so should I notice an appreciable difference in value as I adjust it. When I put it on the pots for vr13 or vr16 it did move considerably in value. Should I try cutting out the AMC circuit completely? If so what do I need to cut in order to do this(diode or resistor and location)? Thanks for any help.

  • @ Hambones amps:
Does anyone know if you can replace the 2290 in a galaxy dx 93t twin turbine with a 2sc2879 red dot? If so, what would have to be tuned?
  • @ ShadowDelaware:
Hambones the entire amp section would have to be retuned, and the rf transformers re wrapped.
