Galaxy 88 freq display

Looks like a loose wire. It works until i wiggle one of the connectors... Ill dig into it later. For what i gave for the radio i cant complain.

it's not hooked up or has a broken wire. keep in mind the is basically an FC357/390

if the radio is working normally on frequency but the counter reads 10.695, then the lead to the vco or the ground that shields it is broken or disconnected, either that or the tracks leading from it on the board are cracked. the inner lead to the vco may be connected via a small capacitor (to prevent loading of the oscillator), it could be knackered too if its there.

could well be a fault on the counter board too.

not familiar with that radio so i'm not 100%, but generally wiring/associated plugs not seated properly in sockets on boards cause most of these type of problems.
