Galaxy 959 meter light??

I notice it has 2 spots for lights. Can you put 2 in it ?
The 2nd spot is for a Red TX lamp for radio's that don't have the small TX LED like your radio. The light there will only come on when transmitting. This turns the meter display red.

Your radio wasn't designed to have a light there so it may not work.

This is just 1 white led with no resistor. It was bright for about and hour then started going dim from there. I never tried to adjust the brightness till i noticed it going dim. I bet those 3 look awesome in yours. Im gonna get green to match the rest.
You must use an drop resistor when using an LED.

Well go got the lights in today and got it fixed up. Got the lights from SIX-STAR on Ebay. Very fast shipping. Got 2 green tube bulbs non led. They even threw in a clear bulb also. So got 3 bulbs for $6.60 shipped. Here are some pics.

Hello gentlemen and Ladies. I have the dreaded RCI-2990 receive issue where my radio gets distorted when people get close to my location. I found the C90 Capacitor, but I can not for the life of me find the C89 capacitor. Can or does anyone have a picture of the exact location of C89 ? Thank you in advance, Wes

Wes, it's better if you start a thread on the main forum, more people are going to see your question.
