Galaxy 959 Problem

Hello,

I have a Galaxy 959 that is giving me problems and I was wondreing if anyone else has had this problem?

On AM the radio frequency counter is off by 8-10khz. On LSB and USB the freq. counter is dead on..

The radio seems to work good on SSB..Keys up and transmits on frequency, BUT on AM the radio won't key up or any output power. The green light on the front does turn to red but no transmit... Have checked the 2sb754 and it is fine..

..

Anyone have any ideas or suggestions?

    Hello gentlemen and Ladies. I have the dreaded RCI-2990 receive issue where my radio gets distorted when people get close to my location. I found the C90 Capacitor, but I can not for the life of me find the C89 capacitor. Can or does anyone have a picture of the exact location of C89 ? Thank you in advance, Wes
