He must have a bad tune on his 95t to see 10a.

AM - 1kc tone 95% modulated = 200 watts @ 28 amps
SSB - with 2 tone injection = 200 watts @ 35 amps

I tried to push it a little harder but it just increases IMD and you will immediately see the modulated waveform on the scope go to crap.

Bird 4391A
TIF 1000DC Digital Ammeter
Three Astrons 70 amp Stacked @ 14.00 vdc

went over this youll need 35 amps minium id be happier with
40amps

id like to know what he was using to test the amp drawthis here is the type that should be used .@10 amps bad tune or
improper equiment

SSB is pulling about 18. My bad. On AM its doing 40DK swinging 180watts or so. Just going by the meter on supply so it may be off.

I guess this is because of the lower DK. Thats about what my 95T shows. I guess im not nuts. Librium I got a meter for ya. Its swinging. Peace to the rest.
