Galaxy DX949 MODS

Not new to CB's, but just got into modding them myself for a little while.
I have a Galaxy DX949, and my question is if i do the "Dual Final Mod"

Will there be any conflict with doing the
"Modulation Limiter",
"AGC Improv.",
"Power Amp Improv.",
"AM AF Improv.",
"Receive Improv.",
" Noise Blanker Improv."

I figured doing the "RF Output MOD" & "Super Swing Mod" from this site wouldn't help since it'll have the dual finals.

i also plan on putting a 2SC2999 in Q17

The amount of gain achieved by doing the dual finals doesn't justify the money and time spent to do it. Add a RFX-75 or for more power just buy an amp. For around $50 you can buy a RM Italy KL-203 and have up to 100 watts AM and 200 watts SSB. Or save a few more dollars and do it right and buy a texas star. I upgraded from a 949 to my 257hp and have never looked back. The 949 will be sold soon.

Dual final upgrade is a waste of time and money. The RFX75 is a waste IMO. Just do a swing mod and buy a 150 watt amp.

Lets see here . . .

I did the power transistor mods, the receive mods (both AM - and SSB), noise blanker mod.
Didn't do the dual final mod, AGC mod, nor the modulation limiter mod.

One tip: do each mod one at a time and then check your work as you go to make sure its working as it should.
