Yes I have a galaxy DX 99V and I am having a hard time getting any modulation with a deadkey lower than 4 watts. Once the dead key reaches 4 watts the modulation picks up like it should. SSB is fine. Also the Clarifier has more range than it should Making it hard to tune in on sideband. The course will slide 10khz up or down and the fine will slide 5khz up or down That seems too much from what I am used to seeing making extremely hard to clarify somebody in on side van any help would be greatly appreciated 73’s

for modulation problem. maybe??? turn the AMC off.
pot VR14 to zero ohms. your audio for AM will
cut out if this control is set up high.

I would perform the NPC-RC modification to wake up the AM modulation. A diode, resistor and a piece of wire will give you a low deadkey with maximum modulation for running into an amplifier

went back to factory specs Seems like average output is a little low only getting about 4 W average on low and eight on high also TR 51 is getting hot the a.m. modulation amp is this normal it gets pretty hot
