galaxy II


go to rig pix.com.go to other equipment on right side of screen.click on cb,freeband.them mobile.some info there.cant seem to find a lot of info on them on the web.i have one works good but im not using it right now.running a galaxy 99.going to save it for a rainy day.mike
 
An old brochure from one of my distributors in 1993 describes the Galaxy II Mobile as follows:

TRANSMITTER POWER OUTPUT - AM/FM/CW 10 watts, SSB 21watts

FREQUENCY RANGE - 25.615 to 28.765

Features and Controls: Built-in frequency counter, On/Off/Volume, Squelch, Mike Gain, SWR Cal Control & Switch, RF Gain, Band Selector A, B, C, D, E, F, Mode AM/FM/LSB/USB/CW Switch, Clarifier, Channel Selector, +10Kc Frequency Shift Switch, Roger Beep ON/OFF, ANL/NB ON/OFF, Freq Counter ON/OFF, Hi/Lo Bandswitch, S/RF - SWR Switch, External Speaker Jack.

No mention of Echo.

I found the C90 Capacitor, but I can not for the life of me find the C89 capacitor. Can or does anyone have a picture of the exact location of C89 ? Thank you in advance, Wes
