GALAXY SATURN HELP


Have you tried unplugging the Microphone from the radio for starters?? Ive seen it time and time again where the connector end has wires get messed up from use and short out.

Next would be a keying transistor failure

IT WILL NOT UNKEY EVEN WITH THE MICROPHONE UNPLUGED
TURN THE POWER OFF AND IT UNKEYS THEN WHEN YOU KEY IT UP IT WILL NOT UNKEY UNTIL THE POWER IS TURNED OFF.

    Hello gentlemen and Ladies. I have the dreaded RCI-2990 receive issue where my radio gets distorted when people get close to my location. I found the C90 Capacitor, but I can not for the life of me find the C89 capacitor. Can or does anyone have a picture of the exact location of C89 ? Thank you in advance, Wes
