I must admit , IM old school , but that Galaxy looks darn nice ! Nothing wrong with having a nice good looking radio to be proud of. IM sure the cb guru's will have it doing 50 or so MOSFET watts , if they already haven't ? So it don't have a 6th digit , it's AM only to begin with ,at least one wouldn't need a damned road map if he or she had extra fregs involved. Variable power is cool , for all those outlaw cb radio operators out there :thumbup: . Bottom line , I think it looks good , performance ? I really couldn't tell you.
 
its to expensive, best i have seen is 164 with free shipping. id rather get a 959 for 146.

i remember ray saying they shared the same mainboard as the 959's, i wonder if they will mod for extras with the p5 p6 mod.

    Hello gentlemen and Ladies. I have the dreaded RCI-2990 receive issue where my radio gets distorted when people get close to my location. I found the C90 Capacitor, but I can not for the life of me find the C89 capacitor. Can or does anyone have a picture of the exact location of C89 ? Thank you in advance, Wes
