? GARBLE ?????

One last question. Did you try going to 39.0000 lsb and 37.0000 usb ?? Sometimes that is what they are doing as well
No I haven't been back to the radio room yet because I just got back home from the graduation. The radio has some good points and potential just a lack of written information on the hidden menus. I'd like to find a written road map on navigating the menus and what the factory setting are suppose to be.

Have a Lincoln II v3 (not a +) that I used for years mobile and as a base. Never had a single problem with RX other than the typical lousy filtering found in CB/Export radios. Coupled with an aftermarket DSP it wasn't a bad radio at all.

I just went back to the radio room 3:45 PM same old garble BS. Found it on AM also but on 8 usb someone did break thru sometimes. 4am sound like mexicans. Right now I'm chocking it up to some weird conditions and I'll check it out later. Maybe tomorrow. Can't figure it out because the other day that radio was running great.

Are you still on band 'D' ? Band D is the correct one for the regular 40.

It doesn't matter if I'm on D band or A band it is the same old garble because I just tried it. Tomorrow is another day. Thanks for the concern, none of my radios seem to be working well today, may be a fluke !
