Gary (or as the "locals" call it Gay Wee!) is a shit hole.. There a CB shop behind the Flying J at Lake Station though.

I would skip Gary all together unless you have other business there (which would be hard to imagine). A safer trip would be to this place.

I lived in Valpo for a while but never heard of that shop. I always carried a gun if we had to go to Gary for any reason. It's on par with Detroit.
