GE superbase problem

Hi I have a old superbase I plugged in had recieve transmitted and it was losing power fluctuating up then down? Now I turned it off back on and dont do anything no rec. or tx.? Lights barely light up on the meters now also. Radio needs help. Any tips would be great. No mods have been done that I could see very clean inside. Thanks.

Probably the power supply. Those are cool old CB's.

I looked at schematic power supply checked good ended up tracing problem to the On/Off switch. Working great now. Thanks.

10-4 on that. Good ole radio keys 3 watts swings 15+ friend of mine about 10 miles away says I dk 3 s units then modulating swings to 8 s units not bad for a oldie.

Mine blew a cap just after I turned it on. Pop! Off to Mike for repairs and an alignment.

i loved them ge radios they had a built in modulation boost in them had plenty of them years ago
