Holy thread hijack
Well I got the radio all hooked up and talked on it all weekend. I am no radio tech and don’t care to even attempt to get into that side of the discussion but I can say that I am getting great feedback from the local guys here with reports of loud clean audio, now I have not been on the receiving end of the transmissions but I feel pretty confident in the folks that were, some of these guys have been around a long time and have no problems telling you like it is, if it sounds bad they will let you know.
With that said is it on frequency I don’t know, was it tuned incorrectly I don’t know, it sounds good to who I am talking to and that is what I am concerned about.
Oh and by the way I am not bleeding over on anything in my house or either of my neighbors homes one of which is directly below my antenna. I am friends with both and asked them to let me know it the toaster was talking.
