The sponsors of the 2015 Global Amateur Radio Emergency Conference (GAREC 2015) have announced that the event has been cancelled due to a lack of interest.


Seppo Sisatto, OH1VR, said GAREC 2015 registrations were too few, and the decision was largely financial.

GAREC 2015 was set to mark its 10th anniversary this June in Tampere, Finland, where the first GAREC was held.

    Hello gentlemen and Ladies. I have the dreaded RCI-2990 receive issue where my radio gets distorted when people get close to my location. I found the C90 Capacitor, but I can not for the life of me find the C89 capacitor. Can or does anyone have a picture of the exact location of C89 ? Thank you in advance, Wes
