I will be mobile back and forth to Chicago...leaving today at about 10:30 am EST will have FT-100D and matching screwdriver on truck. I will monitor 7.238Mc on 40m and also will listen on 10m at 28.400Mc...alternate 40m freq will be around 7.178Mc...
When at the hotel I will be Qrp on 7.040Mc (CW) with my FT-817 but may also listen on 28.400 SSB...no idea of how well I'll be able to work from hotel room but will give it a try....7 watts max out with some wire and small tuner in room...good luck! Hey never know...may get lucky and be up a couple floors...
No access to email till Friday...unless I can get on from relatives systems on Christmas Day...so drop me a line and maybe we can sked something...
Will have 2m handheld but only duck antenna on 146.52 in truck and look for big repeater in Chicago (146.76 or 88?)...
