Speaking of test equipment, I thought I should give a shout out for these guys at Ridge Equipment up in Maryland USA... IIRC. I bought a dummy load from them and they shipped fast and they answered questions promptly. Good people from what I can tell. Good prices on some stuff too. Mostly retested used stuff but good from what I can tell.

we have bought several items from ridge for building business band systems. their hardline jumpers are a fraction of what a distributor charges for the same item. we have never been disappointed in anything we have purchased from them(lightning arrestors, hardline gnd kits, etc.)

Also bought some smaller things from Spi Ro Manufacturing. Decent price on MJF switches and some items. They seem to beat MJF direct on most things that they carry. Done business with them twice now. And they take pay pal too...
