I use to shoot skip on AM and it was ok but a while back I started using ssb and love it! Tonight I made contacts with 111 102 and 808 who were all in Missouri. These are by no means rare contacts but I still love the thrill of shooting skip.Everyone I talked to said I sounded great and since I only use about 50 watts I think i'm doing ok. I hope to set up about 250-350 watts soon. Listen in on 38lsb for 254 WV, hope to make contact.

From my mobile radio in NW Iowa, I talked to Ontario Canada, upstate NY, Pennsylvania, and others without more than 50 watts output.

Dxman, i'm 99% sure that was him. I think Paul was his name but I am not positive. I know for sure that is his number and state though.
