Grant LT price

I have read a lot of posts and I see many of you like the Uniden GRANT xl/lt. I have seen some for sale, What is a good price for this radio? Is there any other quality radios that compare?

The Texas Ranger 296 radios are very similar, being based around the same PC board design as the 148/Grant chassis. They can be bought brand new for under 150 bucks.

I wouldn't think so. Unless you are lucky enough to find a new one. The XL/LT have both been discontinued. A fair used price would be under 100 bucks, IMO.

Well I took all of your advice and purchased a new in box GRANT LT. It was $175 out the door, how did I do? This rig is going into my Tacoma and I was wondering what mics and antennas you all would recommend? Thanks for all the great advice.
