Especially in terms of new test gear. Counting several items I already had, I got enough today to complete a basic transceiver workbench. And all for somewhat under $200!
I got:
1) Hameg HM5006 Spectrum Analyzer ($120, and it works) 500 KHz - 500 MHz
2) RCA-Viz WR-50C RF Generator (old style but it works, $30)
3) Sinadder SINAD meter
Plus, picked up a capacitance sub box, and for grins... a guy had an Astatic Road Devil RD104E that he declared was NOT an amplified mic. It had a $5 tag on it....and I was about to set it down and he said $3!!!!!! I couldn't help but take the chance. And guess what... there IS a 9V battery and a circuit board in that thing!!!!
Anyway, gonna be fun setting all this up.....
