Periodic reminder:

Many radios have black knobs with Center Slot "slits" which are also black and thereby all but impossible to see especially at night.

I use this stuff, super phosphorescent marker paint. Also specifically for use on gun sights. Is awesome. Small bottle will do dozens of applications. I use on all my gun sights and mobile black radio knobs with the center indicator.

I bought off of amazon.com but can get other places.

never mind,,,bad read on the problem.

i was going to suggest clear coat finish but that is not the problem.

I used differing thicknesses and even juiced the stuff up by exposing to bright light and it fades in less than 15 minutes.
Either I got a bad batch or the stuff is lame.

I have a self winding watch with this "light energized" luminus hands and dial....even hiking all day in bright sunlight , the dial glows intensly , but looses illumination rapidly after a couple of hours. If you do use this on gunsights or knobs , try putting a white base coat down first as these paints do not cover well ( for lack of better term).

Hello gentlemen and Ladies. I have the dreaded RCI-2990 receive issue where my radio gets distorted when people get close to my location. I found the C90 Capacitor, but I can not for the life of me find the C89 capacitor. Can or does anyone have a picture of the exact location of C89 ? Thank you in advance, Wes
