hacked to death uniden grant xl needs help!! please

i had a friend give me a grant xl with PB-208AD board. recieves great compared to my
29ltd classic but tx is worse than two cans and a string! hoping i can get alil fire in my wire but im dealin wit a mess. as of now im missing r131,q24,r275,vr10,r228,q34,also missing wires from swr control the wires from the noise blanker switch have ben cut from board"!! can anybody help? feels like im lookin to feed an army with a moonpie budget

yes, this radio has been hacked good!

R131-AM modulation limiter. (ok to leave this out, but must use mic gain to set modulation level. wont be at 100%!)

Q24-also a modulation limiter, but messes up the SSB so put it back. 2SC945.

R275, and Q34-no idea why they would remove these, but Q34 is a 2SC1675.
put it back. cant find R275 on schematic.

R228-may have been messed with to do a swing mod.

VR10-removed to put variable power on the SWR control.

the noise blanker wires were probably removed in order to do a channel mod.
you may find the wires from that switch going to the PLL.

you can use the schematic for the 148GTL on CBtricks, its basically the same radio on the inside.
there may be some minor differences, but for the most part, they are the same.

dont know where you are in tha world, but i gotta feelin ima owe ya a coke and a moonpie my friend.
this radio has aggravated me to death tryi to figure out what to do wit it. i ,picked up a trc-444, a trc-421, pacer 123A and a very clean cobra 138,23 channel radio wit mics yesterday from yardsale
for 3.00 each. all are working virgins execpt for trc421, she lights up but missing crystal out of fl-13? right in front of r13 on the trc-421

not like the old days where you could just order one and they would make you what you needed.

Jan Crystals is still making them.

I called International crystal a couple weeks ago about a crystal I needed and they said they still make what ever you want. only problem is one crystal is 25,00 plus shipping. most old radios are not even worth the price of the crystal now days. I neede a crystal for a old Teddy R and luckily a friend had one and sent it to me.
use to they carried crystals made up and did not have to pay so much for them but not any more.
