Hallicrafters and Heathkit collection

I've been asked to help someone who inherited a very large collection (over 20 pieces) of Hallicrafters and Heathkit Ham gear on the market for her. Her grandfather passed and left it to her. He had a huge radio shack with all the before mentioned gear. He had an Oscilloscope, Hallicrafter front load tube tester and what looks like a signal generator. His closet is full of Heathkit gear. Where would be the best place to put it on the market? How would we know fair market value? Other than the model number on the front what other information should be looked for?
It still needs to be cataloged and photographed and that's no small task! Thanks in advance!

Good place for that kind of stuff to ask about or sell old test equipment.
From my experiences with old test gear is that it isn't worth a whole lot.
Do a search on Ebay for the make and model then check the completed auctions to get an idea what that item will sell for. It will vary but you can get an idea from it at least. I would not expect much the old test gear and they may be difficult to sell at all.
Old Heathkit ham gear would do much better, at least some of it anyway.

A lot of it can be large and heavy so difficult and costly to ship.

Hi. I acquired a Galaxy Saturn Turbo that goes into xmit mode, xmit LED lights, but no output at all in any mode when monitoring on a radio right next to it. Nothing. It receives fine. Also, in the amp module on back, there are MRF454's in there. Those weren't factory, were they? Any clues? Thanks.
