I was on a 4 yr hitch myself but I got a 4 month early out to go back to school because I guess they figured they used me all they could for playing their war game. They wanted me to re-enlist but I made the mistake of saying no. I should have stayed in for 20 yrs. because I did well but I didn't like the Micky Mouse BS but I didn't realize the civilian work force is full of Mickie Mouse also ! LOL

Repeat after me: Realistic TRC-30A Navaho.

My Realistic Navaho TRC-490 SSB base purchased in 1981 is still pluggin' away. So is the Turner Super Sidekick mic I bought back then to go with it.

My 1992 Cobra 148GTL is still alive and kickin'. So is my 30 year old Cherokee AH-100 SSB walkie talkie.

I never applied for my ham license because GMRS, CB and marine VHF cover all of my radio needs.
