Thanks for the link to W&W. I have an IC-T2H that I wanted to power from the cigarette lighter in my truck. I was told by ICom that the optional CP-12 and the CP-17 were for charging only and not for transmit. The T2H is a great little radio but not being able to power it from my vehicle or a power supply is a drawback. W&W has a product called battery eliminator. Problem solved.

Hi was wondering if the vx110 or the 150 are any good for handhelds, not looking to talk far, will just be using them in the woods for hunting, the range would be no more than 2 miles, or would they talk futher ? i know alot has to do with line of sight, and if so what kind of stuff would i need to go with them like ac charger ? dc charger when your in the truck ? or whatever else we mite need ? how long do the battries last on average ? and what type works best ?

As you guy's helped me out before on the FT-2800 and ant system and we have like them rigs just fine, now when we go in the bush need somthing we can get back to the mobile with. Thanks to all that reply and thanks again for helping this rookie out.<img src=http://www.ezboard.com/intl/aenglish/images/emoticons/roll.gif ALT=":rollin">

For $89 (+ shipping and tax in some states) from AES or HRS, The Icom T2H "sport" is hard to beat. Powered by Alkaline or rechargeable AA's, it has a powerful 6 watts and EXCELLENT audio for a handheld. I use mine all the time.

Hello gentlemen and Ladies. I have the dreaded RCI-2990 receive issue where my radio gets distorted when people get close to my location. I found the C90 Capacitor, but I can not for the life of me find the C89 capacitor. Can or does anyone have a picture of the exact location of C89 ? Thank you in advance, Wes
