second that, dry your turkey well before submerging in hot peanut oil.

Deep fryed mine again with NO issues... Take ALL precautions Dry bird and foremost TURN OFF the flame before putting in the bird, also wear LONG rubber gloves for any kind of splatter
PS: that goes for class "c" amps also turn OFF to reduce the splatter
