I found a k-40 mount that looks just like these, but doesn't have a "drilled bolt". Intead, it is set up like a normal connector.I have a S-thumper mount , but will not use it. the center conductor just looks too weak,, and does not look like it can maintain a good, long connection.

I've used this mount with a 12' shaft predator 10-k for 3 years now and have had NO issues with it and it is very strong, I would venture to say it would handle a 22' shaft with no problems.

I used the ss wilson and the thing shorted out. The inside was trashed from over tightening i think but i will not buy another one.
