He superbase ssb no am recieve?

I have ssb receive but no am recieve any ideas on what could be bad?

mode switch maybe dirty?
I've heard the pa switch can cause issues too

Might be the mode switch. It is also an older radio; so caps may be the issue too. Could be the wiring between the boards. Hard to say. Not a common radio nor build design.

Exitthirteen (forum member) has some experience with this radio. Maybe some others do too. I'd be patient until they can chime in; will be worth it - IMO . . .

also clean the power switch it has separate contacts for rx board, tx board and radio power, Mine was dirty and had no tx.
