Hi everyone, I was introduced to CB in 1976, my uncle used it on his farm.
I've had a 1/2 wave vertical up for 10 years, last weekend I put a 5 element
Yagi up. It's a TET-Emtron TE-511 , 21' off the ground, coax is RG213 cut to
the nearest 1/2 wave multiple that will reach the radio in the shed.
My radio is a Uniden Washington I bought in 1990.
I'm in Brisbane Australia, there are a few U.S and Hawaian stations that are
fairly strong down here, although Ch 38 sounds dead today.
Anyhow here's a few pictures of last weekends activity, I put the balun inside
a piece of 2x4 pvc downpipe to keep the weather off it.
