Firstly, hello everyone! I am both new here and to CB radios.

Here is my problem:
I like to listen to the radio but I have yet to talk on it. I have owned it for about 6 months and had it mounted down near the glove compartment. This past weekend I mounted it on the roof. As I don't talk on it I left the mic unplugged. Apparently you cannot listen to it without a mic plugged in.

Here are my questions:
1. Is there some sort of plug I can make and/or buy to plug in so I can listen to the radio?
2. If not, is there some sort of mic that I can mount next to the radio with a very short cord that I can just reach up and press the button on the off chance I ever want to talk?

Thanks.

Try starting a new thread in the Amplifier section and asking the question, more people will see it to respond.
