Warren B. Bruene, W5OLY, of Richardson, Texas, died September 28. He was 96. A pioneer in HF communication, Bruene worked closely with the late Art Collins, WØCXX, on many aspects of HF design during his 44 years with the Collins Radio/ Rockwell Collins.
