Homebrew 5/8's or .64 initial design

Picked up an old dead soldier this weekend at the Austin Hamfest. Hygain CLR-2 stripped her down and started to build a 5/8's or .64 Machined an insulator from a 1 1/4 piece of Delrin so far so good. Looks like it will be strong enough to hold in the winds we get on the Gulf coast.

What tuning method are you going to deplo

I plan on using a feed system similar to the I-10K.

A trombone style matching section mounted horizontally just above the radials.
When i get her tuned i'll post more pics. Have used this system on a Penetrator 500 with the matching section below the radials.
