Got 9 to 11 inches of rain is like 5 hrs. Bayou my house 36 yrs I have lived here has never ever spilled over the banks like it did. My house only got a little water is side in the hallway and 2 bathroom. A few houses people got like 6 to 14 inches of water in there house and a neighborhood about 1 1/2 to 2 miles away houses got 20 to 40 inches of water inside. I bet in the Meyerland neighborhood 150 to 250 homes are total loss. Meyerland is just on the other side of 610 from me. My house was a island after the is flood so lucky we did not get like 4 inches of water inside.
