How much is a Yaesu FT-707 worth?

And I should be able to use any stock 13.8V
power supply, instead of the FP707, right? What
is the amp rating of the FP707?

Also, can the FT-707 be modified for use in the
freeband 27.415 to 27.995 MHz?

If you had the complete station including the factory rack, it might bring 350-400 If'in it's in "great" shape.

Rig alone, I wouldn't pay no more than 250 and it would have to sparkle for me to buy it.

I remember when they first came out. They have pretty LED's.
 
no idea what 707's are worth nowadays, i have not seen/owned one since the mid 80's,
yes they work ok on 11mtrs, the ft-707 and its twin sommerkamp ft-767 were popular for use on 27mhz freeband here in the 80's,
we used to change the 10mtr A and b crystals, peak the oscillator coil for each new crystal and you were good to go once you got used to the frequency display reading +/- the offsets on ssb,
707's use a pair of 2290's in the pa and need around 19amps for 100w output.
