How Much Signal Loss?

I know that everything that you put between the radio and antenna causes some signal loss. I have an MFJ swr/watt meter in line and wonder if the loss is great enough that I should remove it? Any thoughts or experiences on this issue?

ON HF frequencies the loss is very minimal, nothing to worry about

insertion loss should be about 0.3 dB or lower,......... nothing to worry about
